All packages are provided with an Track & Trace number. You can track your order using your tracking number and the link on your shipment confirmation email. Within the Netherlands we send small packages (those who fit through a mailbox) by PostNL and bigger packages by DPD. All international packages will be send by PostNL or DPD, please check your country by checkout for more detailed information.
All the packages (which do not fit through your mailbox) are insured up to €500.
We only deliver across the Netherlands and EU. If you wish to order from a different country, please send an email to email@example.com.
Ordering & payment
Since most of our products are unique pieces from all over the world, including the most inspiring stories, we truly believe in
personal contact with the people interested in it. This uniqueness does not only make a product special, but also difficult to sell online. All kinds of different colours, sizes, materials and shapes makes it extremely hard to give an idea of the characteristic value by only showing a few pictures. In case your new purchase arrives and is not as expected, but you are still interested in the product itself, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll do our very best to match your expectations.
Besides working with the automatically organized and safe iDEAL payment and ordering system, both mentioned arguments are the main reasons for À la to add our own and much more personal touch. After completing your order of choice, ordering and payment instructions will follow.
In case of placing an order that includes an unique À la item, we will contact you personally to find out which one of the unique products matches you the best e.g. size, colour and shape. Shipment might take a little longer, since we first have to get to know
each other, but of course we will process your unique purchase as soon as we’ve found out about your perfect match.
The following steps will occur when placing an order
1. First, fill in your personal details (name, email, phone number, delivery address).
2. In case of unique items with all different sizes and/or colours, you can fill in your personal desires and extra information e.g. size/colour/etc. We’ll try to do everything to satisfy your expectations. In this case we will send you an email as soon as your order and payment has been completed.
3. To finalize your order, click on ‘VIEW CART” (or logo shopping car in menu balk). When your cart is complete and correct, please click on the ‘PROCEED TO CHECKOUT’ button to completely finalize your order. As soon as the order is being processed in our system and payment has been done, we will start processing your purchase. We pride ourselves in handling your orders quickly, with most unique or in-stock items dispatching within 48 hours of ordering; however, some orders may take a little longer to process. Should any unforeseen delay occur, you will be notified within 48 hours of placing your order.
4. Payment must be made by iDEAL, PAYPAL, VISA or MASTERCARD. After this transfer has been processed, your parcel will be sent within 4 days to delivery address given in step no. 1.
// RETURNS //
ONLY FOR THE NETHERLANDS: Your satisfaction as a customer is highly important to us. Although we aim for the best quality,
if for any reason you are not content with one of our products, please let us know. We’ll try to find a solution.
ONLY FOR THE NETHERLANDS: When you buy something from us, we hope you love it. However, should you change your mind (it happens to the best of us) we’ll be happy to offer you a refund within 14 days for NL-bought full-price items. Sale items can also be returned by post within 14 days. Before returning your purchase, please send an email to email@example.com, so we know your parcel is on its way. The amount paid for the item will be sent to the account as mentioned on the return form. Be sure to return your items in their original condition, including labels and original package. This right of exchange or return is in any case in addition to your legal rights as a consumer, which is – of course unaffected.
Returns by post
ONLY FOR THE NETHERLANDS: Please complete the ‘return reason’ section on your delivery note, detailing each item, quantity, and why you are sending the item(s) back. Place this form in your parcel, along with your items.

We recommend that you send your package using a secure or traceable method – such as PostNL Track & Trace and that you keep your proof of postage. Please note that our delivery charges are non-refundable, and À la is not responsible for delivery fees or lost returns. If you want to return your À la product personally to avoid shipping costs, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, so we can make an appointment.
Returning a gift
ONLY FOR THE NETHERLANDS: If you have received a gift from À la and you are not happy with it, you are more than welcome to return it to us.
If you don’t have a receipt or delivery note, please contact us personally and we’ll help right away.
Processing your refund
ONLY FOR THE NETHERLANDS: We will email you to let you know when your parcel has arrived and your refund will been processed. Most returns will process
in approximately 1-2 weeks. Your refund will be credited back to your original method of payment within these 1-2 weeks.
Please note that our delivery charges are non-refundable, and À la is not responsible for delivery fees or lost returns.
ONLY FOR THE NETHERLANDS: Should you wish to exchange an item, please contact us, return the exchangeable product and we’ll place a new order for
you – don’t worry, you won’t need to pay postage again. We can also make an appointment, so we can exchange both products.
